Your contribution can go towards Camp Stevens mission to model responsible stewardship of God’s creation. The 2007 fire that destroyed over a dozen of our buildings has provided an opportunity to make our buildings far more energy efficient, and to model the use of sustainable materials as much as possible.

Introduction to Organic Gardening
May 18-20, 2012

We will cover the basics of organic gardening during this weekend. Learn how to tend to your garden from seed to harvest. Propagating plants from seeds and cuttings is one of the most satisfying of the horticultural arts and spring is the time to do it.

• Crop/varietals selection

The workshop begins with supper Friday evening and concludes after lunch on Sunday. The day will begin with an optional yoga workshop and there will be time for exploring Camp Stevens 256 acres.
