Imagine shooting archery, swimming, eating pancakes, rolling down a hill, picking fresh corn, watching a sunset, climbing a tree house, making friendship bracelets, singing campfire songs and sleeping out under the stars...all in one day. It’s possible during Camp Stevens summer camp – where imagination, friends and fun rule!
Adventure Sessions at Camp Stevens are open to 8-15 year-olds. Campers are placed in an Adventure Group of 12-14 campers that become their family for the week. Each group is led by two counselors and a resident staff member who, through games, crafts, challenges and fun, help the group create positive relationships. Over and over, we hear from campers that the best part of their week is the time they spend with their Adventure Group, where they build friendships, develop interpersonal skills and learn more about who they are.
Adventure Session 1 (Ages 8-15): July 8-13, 2012 Adventure Session 2 (Ages 8-15): July 15-20, 2012 Adventure Session 3 (Ages 8-15): July 22-27, 2012 Adventure Session 4 (Ages 8-15): July 29-August 3, 2012

Wilderness Adventure Trips for Teens are an exciting, offsite part of our summer camp program. Experienced, caring, and qualified trip leaders take adventurers ages 12-18 on rock climbing, rafting, and backpacking adventures in some of California’s most beautiful natural places. The program is designed to go beyond just guiding campers to actually teaching them real outdoor sport skills - and it's all done with the Camp Stevens commitment to a warm and inclusive community.

This summer, we're celebrating our birthday! We've been rolling down hills, climbing rocks, shooting arrows and sleeping out under the stars for 60 years - that makes us really good at it! But don't take our word for it: Here's what summer campers, wilderness trip campers, and parents have said about their experiences with Camp Stevens:
“Camp Stevens offers my kids a place to meet new friends; gain independence; and learn new skills that usually give them greater self-esteem. As a parent, I love that it's very nature-oriented, there's no electronics, and great food!” – Summer Camp Parent
“I had a great time and I loved making friends, and learned so much. I love Camp Stevens!” – Summer Camper
“On our last night, I started to cry because I felt so strong with everyone and I didn't want to leave. I definitely want to come next year. “ – Wilderness Trip Camper
“You folks have done a superb job of creating a fun learning experience in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment. It is no exaggeration to say that the opportunity that Camp Stevens has provided for my child will be a lasting benefit to her.” – Wilderness Trip Parent
