Camp Stevens is located 2 miles northeast of mountain town of Julian, California on State highway 78.  There is an entrance sign on the left side of the highway leading to our private driveway.

When coming through Julian, you'll see a pull out for large trucks with an emergency phone about 500' before the entrance.
If you come to Wynola Rd, you have gone to far (unless you want to check out the desert) make a U-turn and enter the first driveway on the right.

Weather and Travel to Julian

DSC01992Julian, California sits at 4,235 feet, northeast of San Diego. Julian’s high elevation provides clean air, blue skies and four distinct seasons. Spring is generally mild and wildflowers envelop the backcountry in and around the town site. Average summer temperatures fall in the upper 80s and 90s with occasional summer showers in July and August. A mild fall leads to a brisk winter with temperatures ranging from the 30s to the mid 60s. Occasionally there is enough snow for sledding and snowball fun at camp or in the surrounding areas.
